THE MAGPIE GUEST HOUSE

Built in 1996, the two bedroom one bath Guest House features recycled timbers in rustic post-and-beam architecture complimented by modern kitchen, bath and laundry facilities. Ideally suited for four person occupancy, it has a queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other. There is also a queen sofa sleeper in the living room.

LOCATION

The Guest House is situated at the end of a dead-end lane adjacent to 80 + acres of developed and undeveloped park lands. Formerly the home site of an engineer for the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul Rail Road, the property fronts the now-abandoned rail line which ran from Bozeman to Gallatin Gateway. One can ski out the door, and connect to the Lindley Park cross-country ski trail system, or walk a block to the town sledding hill, ice skating rink, outdoor municipal swimming pool, and tennis courts. In addition to the wonderful small-town setting, it is only a three block walk to the Central Business District of historic downtown Bozeman.

The owners, Kathy and Jeff Ball, have lived in the Gallatin Valley for over 20 years. Montana State University graduates and active community members. We know of many activities, services, and "secret spots". While we won't share them all, we will gladly help steer you in a direction which will show you a glimpse of why we, and many others, feel southwest Montana is such a unique and wonderful place. We can help with fishing and hunting guide referral, boat shuttles and/or rentals, catering- even babysitting. Please ask: we want your stay to be positively memorable.

MAGPIE GUEST HOUSE RATES

Summer rate is $1155.00 per week. Winter rate is $1050.00 per week. All rates based on four person occupancy. $ 165.00 per night for shorter stays. OCCUPANCY : FOUR Additional person per night: $20.00 each. (Excludes bed tax) The state-wide 7% bed tax will also be assessed. Payment Terms: We accept payment in US funds, via cash, Visa/MC, certified check, or money order. A 25% deposit is required within 10 days of a reservation booking. Credit Cards will be charged at the time services are rendered. Cancellations made over a month before occupancy will receive a full refund. Those made within one month of occupancy will result in a full loss of the deposit.
